The Durham Mothers Club is led by an all-volunteer board and can be reached at durhammothers@gmail.com. Open board positions are advertised on social media and we encourage interested members to apply. Our internal policy to promote inclusivity among our leadership is to have board positions be (1) temporary, (2) voluntary, and (3) largely virtual. There is no financial, experiential, or tenure requirement for joining the board beyond current DMC membership.

Our 2025 Durham Mothers Club Board currently includes mothers who identify as: AAPI, Latina, neurodiverse, chronically ill, low-income, LGBTQ+, and more. Inclusion is a direction we walk together, not a destination. We strive for diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts and results. We also acknowledge that reaching true, flawless, and perfect inclusion may not be reached in our time as board members. We hope to, at a minimum, lead our organization forward in the right direction and make positive change.
